Halloween... yeah i know it's December....

This year our kids all understood what Halloween meant to them:
Ellie: I get to stay up late and eat candy
Ansley Mills: That something lights up
Addis: Rawwww (we taught him to roar like a lion)

The beauty of living in a city is you hit one block and their candy bags are so heavy we "can't" continue. It also means that your doorbell rings at 11 O'clock at night with folks in no customs wanting candy.

The girls wanted to be My Little Ponies... please tell me that's what they look like?

Finally I am embarrassed to confess that after three kids this is our first ever Jack O' Lantern. We toasted the seeds and the squirrels feasted on our leftover pumpkin.
