On Sunday March 1st Addis Hambleton Carpenter turned 1! We celebrated Addis with many friends who walked through the adoption process with us and were nearly as excited as we were when we knew about him. It was amazing to think about what took place a year ago from that day. His birth, the field, the cow and the women who ushered him to safety. Then a year later, eating a mini cupcake with blue frosting surrounded by people who have loved, cared, prayed and make his sweet journey now with him. Some Addis stats:

Height: 32 inches (hello 90Th percentile)
Weight: 21 1/2 lbs.

Walking: Taking steps, more and more each day, first steps were to his dad after we got back from being away for a week..ahhhhhhhhhhhhh
Favorite Activity: Eating
Favorite Food: Anything!
Best Friend: Loic
Least Favorite Activity: Getting his nose wiped or suctioned
Sleeps with: Money and two blue blankets (he must be wrapped in both of them, one was made by friend Lisa Parcells)
Poops: Every morning when you get him for breakfast you are greeted with it like a punch in the face
